Welcome to Clark County and Vancouver's all-volunteer source for community access to Comcast Channel 11. Hours of Operation:Tuesday 5pm - 9pmSaturday 10am - 4pm
At FVTV we provide training and equipment so that you can get your ideas and events onto local television. Here are the steps to get started - How to get started at FVTV: You must be a resident of Clark County, Washington to submit programs for playback on FVTV Channel 11. If you are not a resident, you will need to find a resident to sponsor your program. The sponsor will need to follow the steps below.
Attend a FREE Orientation class
If you don't own your own high quality video camera, take our Camera Basics class and qualify to check out either a Sony PD 150 or a Sony DSR 250 broadcast-quality camera.
If you don't own your own editing equipment, take our Final Cut Pro editing class and qualify to use our Mac editing stations and laptops.
Pay your quarterly fee to submit locally-produced programs OR pay your slightly higher quarterly fee to submit programs from out of the area
Check out a camera and start creating! Edit your footage and print your final program to tape.
Turn in your tapes with a Cablecast Request Form and watch them air on cable channel 11, reaching 80,000 homes in Vancouver and Clark County, Washington. |
